The sources
| What | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Financial statements, daily prices, dividends, analysts' estimates and ratings | Financial Modeling Prep |
| 13F holdings, 13D and 13G stakes, 8-K events, Form 4 insider trades | SEC EDGAR, read directly |
| The risk-free rate behind every discount rate | The US Treasury's daily par yield curve, the 10-year close |
Nothing else feeds the numbers. Analysts' price targets and ratings are shown as theirs, quoted with the firm's name, and are never an input to the site's own models. Their estimates of revenue and earnings are: a DCF follows the revenue consensus for its first three years, and the multiples set a forward year beside the last reported one.
Point in time
A figure is stored as of the day it became public — the day the filing was accepted by the SEC — not the day it was fetched. That is what lets a valuation or a 13F quarter be read back as it stood on a given date, without later restatements leaking into it.
When pages change
| What | When |
|---|---|
| Stock pages, valuations, the Valuation grade, the sector screeners | Rebuilt every night after the US close |
| The Quant grade | Before each NYSE open |
| 13F filings | Checked three times a day, so a filing appears the day it is made |
| Insider trades, 8-Ks, 13D and 13G | Checked every night |
| News | Every minute during US market hours |
Each page dates its own figures — "as of the Oct 30 close", "filed Nov 14" — and the status page shows how current each dataset is.
Open data
The rows behind the stock index, the sector screeners and the investor pages are published as CSV and JSON at /datasets, under CC BY 4.0.
For AI assistants
Every page an assistant is likely to read has a Markdown version at the same address with .md added, and /llms.txt describes the site for one. A read-only MCP server at api.sweetvaluelab.com/mcp answers the same questions the pages do, from the same data, with no account.
Corrections
When a figure looks wrong, write to the address at the bottom of every page. The fix goes into the code or the data, and every page built from it changes with the next rebuild.
