What's in every issue

Six sections, in this order. A section with nothing in it that week is dropped.

01

Earnings next week

The largest companies reporting in the week ahead, by day, with the consensus EPS and revenue they report against.

02

13F filings

Which of the 85 investors we track filed this week, and what the quarter looks like across all of them: most bought, most sold, new positions.

03

Insider trades

Open-market buys and sells by officers and directors from Form 4, with trades made under a pre-set 10b5-1 plan marked as such.

04

Filings worth a look

8-Ks that change something: an officer leaving, a deal signed, results restated. Routine filings are left out.

05

Market sentiment

Our seven-factor sentiment score for the week, set against the week before.

06

New on the site

Valuation guides and research posts published that week, in English and Chinese.

How it's written

Facts, not calls

No buy or sell ratings and no price targets. When a price is above or below the models, it says by how much and that it is the models talking. It says what was filed and leaves the conclusion to you.

Every line sourced

Read from SEC EDGAR filings. Every line links to the page on this site that holds the numbers, across 518 stocks rebuilt nightly.

Short on purpose

One email a week, about a five-minute read. Sections with nothing in them that week are left out, not padded.

Your address stays here

Used for the weekly and nothing else. Never sold, never shared, and one click takes it off the list.

Questions

How often does it arrive?

Once a week. Each issue covers the week that just ended and the earnings in the week ahead. There are no extra promotional emails in between.

Does it cost anything?

No. The weekly is free, and so is everything on the site. There is no paid tier and no account to create.

Is this investment advice?

No. The weekly reports what was filed and what was scheduled: who bought, who sold, who reports next. It never rates a stock as a buy or a sell and never gives a price target.

Where does the data come from?

13F, Form 4 and 8-K filings are read from SEC EDGAR; prices, statements and the earnings calendar come from Financial Modeling Prep. Every line in an issue links to the page on this site that holds the numbers.

Can I get alerts for just one stock?

Not yet. There is one weekly for everyone, covering the whole market we track. Per-stock alerts are planned, and subscribers will hear about them first.

Is there a Chinese edition?

Not yet. The weekly is written in English only, though the blog has a Chinese edition.

How do I unsubscribe?

Every issue ends with an unsubscribe link, and most mail apps show an unsubscribe button too. One click, no questions, no account to log in to.
